Merry Christmas 2011!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year filled with many memories.  Besides the fact that Luke was a little under the weather, he did not let that stop him from having fun and exerting plenty of energy.  He enjoyed the food, the toys, and staying up well past his bedtime both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  We feel very blessed this Christmas! :)

Our growing family- Thanksgiving 2011

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year at Mimi & Papa's.  Luke played with his cousin Sophia the whole night and threw a fit when she wasn't by his side, it was hilarious!  Luke ate the feast like a champ- always such a good eater:)

We are very excited to find out the gender of Luke's sibling December 19th...we are looking forward to a special Christmas this year!

My belly: 12 weeks

Getting bigger.  Can't wait for my next appointment!  And can't wait to find out if this baby is a boy or a girl!  Soooo excited!!!

Luke

Here are recent pics of our little man.  He is growing up so fast!  He keeps us laughing all day long with everything he does.  He has quite the personality!  His favorite things to play with are balls and he has quite the arm.  He is trying to talk and communicate a lot more and becomes quite upset if you aren't "understanding" what he is trying to tell you:)  He has mastered the word "daddy" that's for sure...and my favorite thing he does is when you ask him "where's your belly?" and he points to it!  If you continue asking him, "where's your head etc.?" he will continue pointing to his tummy- it is so cute because he is so proud of himself!  We love you Lukey!

My belly: 10 weeks

10 weeks and already poppin'!  Can't believe how early I have started showing with the second compared to the first. I have a feeling I am gonna be bigger this time around:)

Little Peanut:)

Baby #2 is looking good!  Heard/saw the heartbeat today at the doctor and he/she was even moving around...so exciting, what a little miracle it is to actually see it on the screen.  I am amazed at how much this little peanut has grown since last time.  Amazing.  Due date is still May 27th.

Baby #2!

I went to the doctor and it is confirmed...I am pregnant!  Baby #2 is expected to be due on May 27th.  Joe and I are SO excited!!!

We are really happy that Luke is going to be a BIG brother!  Luke and his sibling will be about 22 months apart:)

Could it be...?!

I took a test after a couple weeks of feeling very different, very irritable, and very tired.  And our dreams of being pregnant again came true!  We are thrilled that we are going to have another little miracle:)

Chicago!

We went to Chicago to finally visit my best friend and Luke's Godmother!!!  On this visit we were able to see the house they live in in a beautiful suburban town outside of the city, meet Chase the newest addition to their family, and watch Luke and Kate (my God daughter) play and play and play!  We even got to have a much needed adult evening out in the city!  It could not have been more perfect.

It was so memorable being able to visit Bob and Kel finally and have all of our babies together.....it might've been quite chaotic at times with a 4 yr old, 1 yr old and an infant but SO worth it!  We love them SO much and can't wait for the future memories we will make together!

Balboa Beach House

Nana and Grandpa decided to get a beach house in Balboa for the whole month of September for a Bower Family vacay.  So far it has been so much fun.  Luke runs all over the place when he's there like a little wild man.  He loves exploring every nook and cranny of the house and of course is most interested in anything that is breakable:)

Oh yes, this picture basically says it all...that is Luke flirting with a hot babe on the beach:)  He can not get enough of girls, girls, girls!!!

Saying that Luke is obsessed with the ocean is an under statement.  He literally would be in the water all day and covered in sand from head to toe if it was his choice and still have the biggest smile on his face!

A really fun day at the Maui Ocean Center.  Luke loooved looking at all of the aquariums full of beautiful fish and sea life.  He was very entertained!

A really fun date night for Joe and I at Duke's in Maui not far from our resort.  It was the perfect evening with great Mai Tais and live music.  Loved Duke's! 

11 months!

Wow, am I late on this post.  But I figure I should do it since Luke is almost 12 months:)...Luke has been walking since 10 months old.  At this point he doesn't wobble as much so he has a lot less spills.  He loves being on the go!  He says "mom", "mama", and "dada" a lot more now and waves all of the time at people when out and about.  He is a very social and happy baby.  We have really enjoyed taking him to concerts in the park this summer where he gets to see a bunch of people, listen to fun music and get his groove on- it's a perfect place for him:)
